It is a one day event uniting Lumpkin County churches of all denominations together in Christ to serve this community.Although each church is doing local mission work on a smaller scale, imagine the impact when the faith community gathers together and cooperatively works to meet the needs of our county!

Here is what to expect when the day arrives.

Preparation:

Project Leaders will visit job sites to determine the materials, scope and number of volunteers needed to complete the project.

7:00AM

Registration begins at Dahlonega Baptist Church in front of the sanctuary. Please arrive with a signed copy of the Emergency Contact Release form. Click here to download.

7:30AM

Commissioning service and mission projects begin in the sanctuary of Dahlonega Baptist Church. Volunteers will meet their project leader and are directed to the project location. Most volunteers carpool to the location if traveling off site.

8:00AM

Volunteers and project leaders arrive on site and begin work. Tasks required to complete a project range from plumbing to clearing leaves and planting flowers.

LUNCH

Team Leaders will collect water and sack lunches for team members to eat on-site.

4:00PM

Volunteers return to the meeting location for the evening celebration and to enjoy a BBQ dinner.
